Shooting Tip: A message from Scott Volquartsen

Accurate shooting begins with a proper grip. KC Eusebio shows how...

The days are getting longer, the temps are a little warmer, and March is right around the corner! All signs spring is almost here.

For those of us in the midwest, this can be a welcome change when it comes to spending time on the range!

This can also be the time to work on new habits and fundamentals. If it's been a couple of months since you have been to the range, let's hope any bad habits formed last year stayed there. Unfortunately for me, many of mine like to follow me around from year to year.

A lot of us who grew up shooting ended up developing our own way to do it, unique to us. This would describe me perfectly! However, the more time I spend around world class shooters the more I realize how much work I have to do.

The one takeaway I have from spending time with some of the best shooters in the world is the emphasis they put on drills and fundamentals. Yes, practice is important but only if we are practicing the right way.

Whether you are prepping for the upcoming competition season or just looking to improve your overall skills, 6-time world speed shooting champion, KC Eusebio has put together a couple of quick tip videos to help build that solid shooting foundation. These tips are great reminders for those that have been shooting for years, but also a great way to introduce kids to the proper mechanics.

So what are you waiting for? Now's the time to start putting that work in for a successful season on the range.

Committed to Building it Better,
