You may have never heard the name Hammerli before but they aren't new to the game. Hammerli is a sister company to Walther Arms. Hammerli brand has been around since 1863, founded by Johann Ulrich Hammerli. True to Swiss fashion they made a name for them sleeves with precision craftsmanship. Hammerli for success in making barrels and arms for the Swiss army. Hammerli equipped Swiss won the first World Shooting Championship in 1897 and continued to be a such driving force that the US team began using them in 1929. Flash forward to 2006 and Hammerli joined Carl Walther under the UMAREX Group.
The NEW TAC R1 features a 13" free-float M-LOK aluminum handguard, folding back-up sights, adjustable stock with QD sling point, last shot hold open, and aluminum receivers. The barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and has a flash hider that can be removed and replaced with a suppressor or other muzzle device. The TAC R1 has an adjustable gas system that can be tuned across a wide range of 22LR loads.
