For avid shotgunners, Browning’s Citori is a gun that needs little introduction, and it’s a design that has roots going back to the company’s great namesake, John Moses Browning. The prolific inventor developed the concept of the over-under shotgun with his Superposed, and that legendary design remained a mainstay in the shotgunning world until the 1970s. Though the Citori shares the same layout and lines of the Superposed on the outside, on the inside, it’s an entirely different animal. Rest assured, though. Browning’s redesign means that the Citori is a shooter’s shotgun.

This Davidson’s exclusive is one of the sweetest-shooting Citoris you’ll find, and that’s because it’s chambered for the .410-bore shotshell, one of the lightest and smallest shotshells available today. Considering that the gun weighs almost 6.5 lbs., unloaded, and is fit with a generously sized recoil pad, this over-under is one you can shoot all day without bruising the shoulder. A set of 28” barrels completes this sub-gauge shotgun and provides all the reach you need for light .410 loads while still being handy enough for field use. A trio of Invector choke tubes allows shooters to fine-tune their pattern as needed, with full, improved cylinder and modified chokes shipping with the gun.

On the flat sides of the silver-nitrided, satin-finished receiver, there’s a golden Browning buckmark that matches the gold treatment on the gun’s inertia trigger.
