Based on military feedback, Beretta has designed the newest member of the M9 family, the M9A3 9mm pistol. The M9A3 delivers all of the critical features that today's combat professionals require in demanding environments.
The M9A3 was designed to deliver the performance that military, Law Enforcement and consumers demand. In short, this combat pistol was designed to perform exceptionally in any tactical or home defense situation.
Item#J92M9A30 is a "Type F" double/single action 9mm. Type F denotes that the decocker also acts as a safety.
With the ambidextrous decocker/safety lever in the up position, the pistol is ready to fire. Unless manually cocked, the first trigger pull will be double‐action with the subsequent pulls in single‐action mode.
Moving the decocker/safety to the down position both decocks the hammer as well as rendering the pistol "safe" and preventing firing.
Item#J92M9A30 has a threaded (standard 1/2X28) 5.2" barrel equipped with a thread protector.
The front and backstrap of the pistol are checkered and complimented by thin grip panels.
However, if the user prefers, a black rubber wraparound grip is also included.
Sights are three‐dot Tritium Night sights (single‐dot front, two‐dot rear).
In keeping with tradition, this M9A3 has a lanyard loop.
Rounding out the package, this M9A3 comes packaged in a custom foam‐insert plastic ammo can. A total of three sand‐resistant 10‐round magazines are included.
